vision

We choose to see only that which we wish to see, and particularly, that which is good or celebrated. Our celebrities are only ourselves, as are king and queens and athlete stars. Our best parts are that kind of extension, whereas we denounce our perfection, but then, rescue it in the daily transactions of life. From the private world of singularity, as if peering over the bus seats or airplanes half to most way back, suddenly we are posed in the world communicating to others, as if the cell were a direct line to the gods. The power once only belonging to the gods and kings is ours, we are them.

The flower? is called, Rejoice!

America has a Cold!

In the transition of The Presidency, perhaps more than ever, the American people have been plunged into a despair of economy and Change unlike ever before, hence, a cold. The symptoms are apparent, too much coffee and too much money, the vision had disintegrated into abject consumerism, and self-doubt. Whereas there is always the cry of lack of leadership, the cry for renewed leadership, the cry is the lack of self reliance and vision of the future. Self-doubt kills! The wholesale denunciation of the current leader has further propelled the people into a territory full of sharks, the me's, and forces the incoming leader to stonewall the political rhetoric, for..., Republicanism. The best cure for a cold is expanding the self, both physically and mentally into the future space of being. America will not regain itself until it reduces the hoard and gives itself, its vision, its help and growth, to the world. That's the key.

Obama Represents

Barack Obama has no choice but to go forward. America has two choices, go forward, or, the more likely choice, to project the future to be about the past(the many news media allusions to FDR), to imagine a newer deal. The dialogue to the latter is writ by TV. To go forward is to give ourselves to the world, to create untold riches to support the human race. While America asks to be helped, the people have little idea how they will be answered, we must help others to begin to help ourselves. Neither Republican or Democrat understand that Barack Obama is the beginning of a new vision because the vision is not a reality.

Starbucks Nation

Do people understand why there was a financial crisis? And now it is a rolling, on-going emotional roller coaster ride. Well, there are two views, one built on numbers, the other formed by consciousness.

In the nineties, Starbucks took-off in the manner of MacDonalds, -eventually there was one on every block USA. By the time 9/11 occurred, the population was sufficiently sped-up to over-react on every emotional front, resulting in over-reaction to the trauma of being attacked, and, a miltitary reaction. On a massive scale, people were and are now drinking more coffee, stronger coffee, and pumping energy into everything they do, like for example believing that the growth would continue unabated, without correction. Boom Town USA.

The ride was accompanied by a continuing revolution, something faster and more dramatic than evolution, where technology was packing our creative minds with more tools, more options, more info-scape jungle than the human being had ever imagined. Going to the moon was a mere fact. The age of The Bible was over, and the new bible was built on writing individual bibles, one for anybody interested in scripting salvation, for that is what creativity is to the human. An unbelievable explosion of potential is upon us. Are you a believer? Are you ready?

So when the elections finally arrived after 8 years of critical renunciation against the traditional conventions of power, the discussion turns to health insurance, but nobody talks about health. In the nineties, cigarette smoking was appraised as to the future cost to taxpayers in caring for the resulting smoker's diseases on a mass level. Huge!

What we are looking at, in terms of a trillions dollar bail-out, is the caffeine disease.

If politicians must talk about health care insurance, every time they speak to people, their words ought to be prefaced with attention to healthy living. Make it a law.

NEWS ITEM:
Experts Conclude Pfizer Manipulated Studies By STEPHANIE SAUL
Published: October 8, 2008

The drug maker Pfizer earlier this decade manipulated the publication of scientific studies to bolster the use of its epilepsy drug Neurontin for other disorders, while suppressing research that did not support those uses, according to experts who reviewed thousands of company documents for plaintiffs in a lawsuit against the company.
Pfizer’s tactics included delaying the publication of studies that had found no evidence the drug worked for some other disorders, “spinning” negative data to place it in a more positive light, and bundling negative findings with positive studies to neutralize the results, according to written reports by the experts, who analyzed the documents at the request of the plaintiffs’ lawyers.

Self Doubt

The interesting thing about women is, they once believed they had everything anyone wanted, -now it simply isn't the case.

They are shown to be in the world of man politics, great promoters of their main man, or in this case, McCain Man.

Election debate has a new angle on the debaters, from the rear. Problem is, this year the Republican Vice Presidential candidate is a looker, in a skirt and high heels, and a rear view camera angle was repeatedly used to show her..., well, butt. BUT, nobody seemed to notice, or mind. If the candidate was Hillary Clinton, the screams of foul play would be heard far and wide. So the politics in America enters a new phase, based on TV Media's voracious appetite for imagery, after being expanded by Hillary who ran for her man Bill, the woman candidate is distinctly different. She showed John McCain the way to an inspired choice, that the best VP is woman, stand for your man!

Bottom line is, whatever the polls say, McCain is more than a contender, he's out front, -albeit from elicit, grabbed imagery.

The Great Deception

One might think that the current election will resolve the discontent felt by many who were cheated a President Al Gore and were bludgeoned by the lies of the Bush-Cheney White House. It all balances on what you construe as truth. Read no farther, I think you won't believe me. America is a Sports Mentality, the match is to win, and everybody plays the game as long as they can cheer a winner. For whatever you chose to believe there is a speaker or writer or blogger who will deliver the goods to you. The illusion of the winners circle is a good place for fat American. I am convicted of disbelief in the results of the market process.

We like to back a winner, and the winners tell us they are winners, and everybody thinks they will win, or win something whatever that means, usually some elevation in the status quo. The Clintons rose to power dangling carrots before the needy communities of democracy, and it is told that they accomplished great things while in office. Eight years later, most of those communities lurched forward on their own, not waiting for false promises. What was left were the so-called clintonistas, empowered by the idea of a woman in the White House. The idea has more power than the reality. So it is with that illusion, the feint hardly lives up to the task. By choosing a side based upon a sexual definition cannot take the mountain, the battle, or even the imagination of the people looking for the next great society. Hold-on, you my not believe what I'm telling you.
We are it! This is it. If it means half of America will wear red shirts, and the other half blue, then we have a settled democracy. The third half is charged with the Spiritual compliment of the American Destiny. It is said what matter win or lose, there is next year. The chagrin will never be mollified, for every interest asserts its own power, and in the weeds there are the flowers. We construct a demand that our society be productive, and plow under or herbicide the weeds, but what of a power more supreme than control? The power of choice can manifest in an ideal society, but not brokered by a politician or businessman, then who?

As it stands, McCain or Obama, makes no difference who wins, except that one side is invested in their side and the other the same. Can you believe any different? Exactly as we lve sports, we live politics, and with the same results. Nothing. Nothing but business as usual..., can you believe otherwise? After all, the pang and angst of Bush was he didn't assuage the various constituencies the Clinton had stroked so unmercifully. If you can look at it that way, you might begin to believe that it's all baloney, whether Clinton or Bush, or Obama & McCain, or even the midterm Presidency of Hillary, and, Gore who?

While Markets crash, or excuse me Merrill Lynch and Lehman go bottom-up this September, the karma has come to roost on Clinton's legacy of greed. It fired-up the Bush maneuvers in Afghanistan and Iraq, but guess what? The Clinton legacy of empowerment, yes there was a great renewal of self-worth in America and the world in the 90's, has all come to fruition, and splendid wealth must pay back for its greed. Russia is first in line, but only because they exhibit a sports mentality too, -us or them.

Americans have this fetish for money. It precludes everything that has to do with heart. Judgments are made because ostentatious wealth means more than being. More than all emotions, it carries the day, and why wouldn't it when teams spend great fortunes buying talent that can't even speak a sentence. It's equality! It's, I love that guy because he hits or drives the ball over the end line, so who cares that he doesn't care? Manny Rodriguez personifies the end of reason to sports, and if you doesn't know why, send me an email. I'll tell thee. It is compelling to watch television, to watch the sport, and to watch the huge crowds, reminiscent of the WWII films of Nazi's parading or Russian step boots marching, the euphoria, the absolute dedication to team and win win win, -is something to think about....

Of course the similarity has little to do with a war machine, only the mentality that spectates has little to do with the future. Sitting, consuming, and watching constitutes nothing pro-active about living. It is being a market blob. The value of the Dallas Cowboys is 68 billions of dollars. Did I see that correctly on the screen last night? In theory as the world capitalizes these cultural pastimes will be even more valuable. Business of business, and in these states, productivity is now attending to sports.

Of this it is true, that all people can be roped into being a market blob, and it is built on the amazing technical visual of sports TV, and second, attendance, and overall, obsessing about the win or lose. Tiger Woods, is emulated, but not equaled for concentration and focus in his golf game. People play it, but more people watch it. Sports provides a near perfect replacement to religion or politics, and in fact, the current candidates may be emulating the fast action more than the issues.

America has played the game, holding the bible up in the air, because it is said to be the source of all, the other religions have their codes which are also held up as the line to follow. Questions are answered therein. The teachings refer to the past where leaders are pinpointed for particular wisdom, the fiction of their life has been abbreviated, truncated, for the lesson. Still, a great many people look back to understand this moment, the place where they are, or the civilization is, either on or before the brink of disaster, or the kingdom comes forth. America disdains the combination of religion and state, but as a matter fact, the dogma is held-up like the bible, or the torah, or any religion, as being the word of the founding fathers. Has Mount Olympus of the Greeks re-appeared in the wisdom of a few fellows in the 18th century? Must we refer to the constitution as sacrosanct? Fortunately we have a function of government that allows modification, but can we really trust those who didn't have sports tv to project behavior in the 21st century? Likewise, can we trust those who participate as a market blob to vote? Of course we can, if we trust and believe that the numbers of conscientious humans are growing toward an affinity to the evolving future world.

To enter the moment of now, The American Spirituality Party stands for the truth of what is evident within you. Start by acknowledging health, not the epitaph projected by advertising on television and elsewhere, think about yourself. If you are guided by the bible and the constitution, both functions of past society, then a rapidly moving society of flux leaves you andthose hierarchies of idealism far behind. As the mass of people extol those past guides as unassailable, the masses are exploited by commercial interests. It is not to be a market blob which is the objective of those who would envision the future now. Look where it got us? Pharmaceuticals manufacture ailments, and market health benefits. Can we be prescient and think about health insurance in a society that grows illness?

The symbol of the market blob are the overweight humanoids who exercise highly their opinions of basic rights as delineated as "inalienable rights" by the founding fathers. These people are generally overweight, hugely often, rarely turn their focus to anything but dead ahead, the TV, the steering wheel, the cue for fast food, the supermarket aisle, anything and everything reduces choice other than feeding, which also is a direct forward concept. Body torque and discipline are responsibilities which have been discarded. Did our founding fathers not work in ways lost to our floating automobile market blob? By this alone we can discard everything of the past, but beware, not to adapt the spectatordumb as the new way.

Mobilize the army of NOT intelligentsia, comsumeria, or militaria? but only those of the believing in themselves, in their own evidence of positive growth. Teaching/learning is the ladder of activity available to mankind, and within it, bears the moral choices that presupposes the future now. Our society of communities are apparent everywhere, so we have the power and joy of being together, and sports are only communities, as politics has its own field defined by the constitution, the power to exploit 2 party communities. Logistically, the match, the competition, the head-on savaging of the opponent, is still the same, still the sports mentality, whereas logistically there are many many more operative communities who are rising to deepen the flux of direction, now held by two parties, that no longer serve effectively the interests and needs of a global godhead. Clinton dramatized the advent of a multi-party, or multi-community government, but the constriction of the constitution and the sports mind froze, and like Napoleon's France the evolution outgrew the emperor, and Clinton's attractive demeanor, listening and speaking to woes was outgrown by evolving communities he couldn't deliver to.... Woe is us, we move on.

Dog Daze of Summer

Warning: Summer in Walla Walla Washington can be unmitigatingly HOT, but it has not been, until now. The heat is not the point, it is a return to humidity which has blissfully not been the case, at least since the Winter, so gray for months. Dog daze has to do with the ending of the growth, the receding sun, the lawn mowing and watering, very big here as the sun takes 2 inches of moisture out of the ground every day.
More so, is the very 4th year, arrival of political conventions, meaning the politicians/media are under full swing to give people what they want, versus the kind of leadership that evolved out of the last world war. Intruding on life is our media vision is Chinese Olympics, is the anything of fabricated illusion, is the gleaming gold of our handrails, is the quest for gold, and the fear, the eclipse of American pre-eminence, and, the sign of our consumerism, the pollution in Beijing. It is as usual that opinions and desires for a better life are heard on the net, the human will exists in either form of individual freedom or collective mandate throughout the world.

These summer moments are about Time, before the back to school, back to the business of the cold, back to the low lying sun, where humans can choose to just live in the endless intricacy of the moment.
Confessional prose, isn't that the flip of confessional poetry? Only now we are in a definite new media moment, not of writing but viewing video, we seek and find that that is the answer, or has the answer, or by sheer power of hits, creates the answer. The ambiguity comes from the predominance of media. Everything works for the media. We are the audience of media. Only now we as video writers we are able to adulterate the Hollywodishness of our lives. Meanwhile, politics tickles everybody's wants, like a menu of appetizers and entrees, as if we democracy-ites truly expect fulfillment from an eternally corrupt/normal business machine. Politicozies promise 'the wants' for votes, and nowhere more than classic clintonianism. The backbone of The Constitution is sorely strained, like the bible, needs to be re-videographied. Fried like fast food. More on that coming-up.
Try this, a video of qigong. I made this with Abi, recorded her instruction, then found it was an invaluable moment because my own practice was an evolution, creativity of being instruction, my body my self, my motion. I'm not at all interested in Eastern methods and semantics, but I am interested in learning a base from which my human energy rocket can take-off.
Endless studies about sleeping pills and valium are as laughable as big belly people. Walk, or practice simple (walking) qigong, the very same as Abi but with your inspiration of being, that is, the creativity of being instruction here. Rotate your body, pump as expression, and sleep. The divine is not on the steppes of Tibet, or in the buddhist temples of the Far East, the divine is you, in you, about you, for you, of you. If your sensibility thinks, what is oriental is good, then eat rice and practice you.
Funny thing about Obama, his talk is so cool compared to hot Clintons. But where they promise you the future, Obama gets you to agree that we must change the future. The latter with hope in the community, the former with hopelessness of more egocentric leadership.
The Clintons want to give the voters, all voters, what they want even if it is impossible or not in the interests of the union/party, even if they can't deliver. The time is, not to go back, but to take what they so profoundly gave to the voters, a sense of worth, and change our future. Obama correctly identified the shift in the national consciousness.

On charles Van Doren essay, according to blog:
August 12th, 2008

Can we believe how amazing it is to read this story after all the years… Joe McCarthy would love to know that he was not the only icon of mislaid minds in America, grasping at some sense of fear to propel his star. So the so-called fraud aimed at the integrity of the expert academic is held truer than the natural evolution of TV, full of lies and pov and salacious tidbits that mock the intelligence of people. What are lies upheld by the virtuous ones, the good citizens who live according to a morality held above? CVD was truly more prescient than many would care to think, and the academic stature is hardly scraped because it already is lost. Look at TV now, academics, or liars/actors. Hail Caesar, for GB Shaw would attribute, the man pointed the way to the secret of the sphynx.

Spirituality

By definition, we agree on the word. Spirituality is a person's appreciation of the mystery of life in spiritual god or self. More than any word, it defies definition, thereby being open to interpretation. God has that singular quality, although by many is misunderstood as religion. Many people will argue that every interpretation is wrong, according to a need to have the exact understanding, and as well, historical definitions are asserted right because the meaning is an institution or passed upon by a pre-emptive authority, such as the Pope, or a leader of a belief system, or even Wikipedia.

Spirituality then means everything you have learned it means, for example, far eastern religions have a neat college religion course feel to them, yes that's it. People become spiritual, as a practitioner of buddhism for example, thinking American preeminence after WWII and the Cold War precipitate enough fear to renounce the strength of our roots, European Protestantism. But even that source acknowledges spirituality as something without a dogma, an awe of being, outside the church, the community. Native American spirituality is another example of a confusion of terms, even to the tribes converted to catholicism, a conversion of spirituality to dogma, the confusion reigns over a core need, but not a recognition of core being.

In the context of The American Spirituality Party (here) the word American refers to a transformative period where a settling of people were cut-off from the church, nationalistic adherence, and territorial proximity (to Europe), and formed through self-reliance a new world view. In this process, beginning in the 17th century, people formed communities for security and social reasons, and while tending to the work of survival, were gradually brought to an new evolving creativity. Gathered by assertions of commercialism, productivity and military might to 1950's onward, when mass systems of technology and education and information brought the world's people forward. The flowering broke forth.

Spirituality is the power of expression. Power, but not in military power, rather a concert of voices all gathered, all creating, and more meaningful than nationalism, religion, because as the layers of communities multiply, many different voices sing a harmony of being, a story untold is unfolding.

Since before Homer the lyricism was profound to many, given to the people as their sound of knowledge, and with it story. Now it is the same only it comes not from one, or from on high, but from the body of All People everywhere. Listen. If you cannot hear it, you are blind.

Individually we create ourselves, within the milieu of family and locale and will. We ascribe our being to values given and reasoned. The learning now is the teaching, and teaching we learn. If we accept the learning given by the system, we cannot teach more than the system. By giving your knowledge, you teach others, and no community can be unless that is the case. By transferring your knowledge through video, others see what you see, and learn to dialogue with themselves. Recording and creating video is a step, it is a compendium of your choices and vision. A picture seen is not nearly enough, -without words the information is limited to interpretation.

We are the priests, ministers, rabbis, ceo, president, et cetera of our being. What we know truthfully in our self is what we can teach, and others will learn from what we teach. As they see to what depth we have made the change in our world, they learn to teach. That has been the mission of artists, poets, writers, filmmakers, and those who create the greater worlds, expressly for others. All People have this potential, but are sore on the butt from entertainment, sports, and activities of watching and listening, not speaking (forming thought and expression). Politics has shown people their fears, because politicians speak to those fears with their ally, the news media. We can persist to accept this relationship, knowing we are weak, or we can go around and create the world of being.

Creativity is electric and it lifts you off the seat.

Work with yourself as a video, then with your communities, teaching others how to create videos that others may learn what it is to be in a community, for we are many many overlapping communities in America. The pool of spreading communities, as rings in a puddle, as raindrops combine, is our power sublime.

The core of this dogma is the understanding that being (alive) is the creativity of being instruction (teaching/learning through doing). Everybody is given certain human traits that are automatically fulfilled, such as breathing, then, as we define the physics of life by grasping our understanding into that existence, every object and sound and taste and the emotional jungle of human environment, we begin to discern that we are being instructed. At this point, we can follow the course into our adulthood and future past, by citing the knowledge by rote, that is, we are able to recite what it is that we have been told, as we can quote other sources, as to what substantiates our thought. Or, we can go the other way, and embark upon the testing of grounds within our self, in relationship to what we are told is right, and that is the creativity of being instruction, finding that which comes from you whether right or wrong, it is the found self, our highest sense of being.

In the freedom of inalienable rights, it is that creativity which propels us on to the the new day, the future of now. For example, the freedom of the press is not the right to blab or politicize, but the essential need to find our evolving place in the stream of variables which are the concern of life on earth. To politicize is to garner votes for the power to take from other communities, to grab at the wealth apparent. To learn to teach, and teach to learn, is to transmit understanding on an individual interpretive level. Passing on knowledge is discovering the self. In a YOUTUBE culture, it is in the medium of flexvideo, the contemporeality is discovered. (here) When you use a search engine to define a concept, and the answer is a video, you begin to understand we are watching, as well as reading definition (of the mystery).

What you may not understand about pictures, still pictures, is that we take pictures of what we know, both inside us and from what we've seen. Harold Bloom wrote a book on poets, that the poet cannot write without a precursor, another poet whom the poet emulates both in content and verse. The same for the average person, they photograph what they love, family and nature, or they photograph in ways they've been taught, or emulate from mass media. If you are educated, that is, have a body of design knowledge, art history, and a sensuous appreciation for what comes before you (historically), and then take a picture, you are either emulating acceptable imagery, or recognizing a need within you to mark that image as New Territory. That image is beauty within, and some photographers recognize that as evidence of a spiritual reflection. What else could it be for anybody using the camera as a tool of perception? You are recognizing, by taking yourself. The world is an illusion, for we are only conduits of energy, but spirituality is evident.

Why else take pictures? As an inquiry to the vast world, we take pictures of what we don't know. The act can be a bridge to understanding relations, sizes and shapes and color, but more over, what it is, is us. We seek what we want, and dispose or avoid what we don't want. Few answers are rarely found other than us, that which is ours to recognize.

Comments can form Expression by Assertion

The dramatist and critic critic George Bernard Shaw asserted his right to mount a cart and speak his mind, particularly in regard to the popular drama which, as a professional critic, was killing him. He was reviewing drama in London but found it successively appealed to baser instincts. As a self-professed mountebank, he opined the tragedy of self-absorption in feelings that was compromising good theatre. The romantic view of the world, using sensuousness and diluting expression to sicky sweet, was all about selling theater tickets. It was in effect, music hall entertainment. A theater of constructive thought and expression was the victim.

Today, in th same way, we do have serious theatre, such as Sam Shepard, and others, but an on-going theater of expression is ups for grabs. The need for money compromises everything, and the question is, how far a successful product can really go.

What is at risk is the loss of storytelling. Look at the evolution 100 years later, as Walt Disney and Pixar make animated movies, such as Wall-E, where a trash compactor with a heart saves mankind, AND has a love affair with a "girl" robot. As such, it was when I read Shaw's comment about inserting a love affair in a plot as a mechanism for selling books, tickets, just about anything to the public. By ticket sales/votes, the market takes only ideas that can be sweet, not threatening, romantic, and the drama is twisted to that taste. Creativity, the investigation of response to enlightment, essentially core Art, is lost.

American culture is teaching the world, at least we can say leading them on in a mad flurry for appetite. By packaging the mass appeal products based on our need for romantic drivel, only further and more powerfully than 19th century London because the industry spans and affects the world by mass media interests, we intrude on other's sanctity. Al Quaida have any thoughts as to why? Mass media has virtually free rein to exploit anything, and at the same, through international copyright police, restrict the use of their material. (search Lessig, copyright commons)

Contemporary movies aside, how about the NET? The most powerful presentation by Sir Ken Robinson on www.ted.com is a perfect example of the contemporary hunger for knowledge, presented by an entertaining guy, speaking of "creativity". The content of his talk is 'how society kills creativity by education' is very appealing blame concept. Nothing could be more attractive topeple who do little to change it. Yet, Sir Ken is only entertaining, a great after dinner speaker with an English wit. He is lauded with kudos because, he says everything we know and want to hear. Little is offered to us to change the world.

When the business of comment is merely to point out that a statement is wrong or right, it always answers what is nowadays material from a highly opinionated, dark-sided news industry. The NET has liberated opinion but still devolves into negativity with massive authoritarian publications with questionable viewpoints and political tactics. Information, mini-information is the sea of our nature. We believe what we want or need to believe. It can be quackery, all of it, but IT IS IMPORTANT to speak-out, your identity of intent deserves that much. My candidacy for President (see previous posts, or American Spirituality Party offers my steps to change the world, comments being a lost art of self, the Art of Life about Wyeth, Thoreau, Emerson, Buckminster Fuller and others, show a way we can become the agents of change, a balance ignored in this commercial society. It is better to be entertained, after all, isn't that why we join communities or the church, or vote, or watch sports? Ultimately, that is why we as All Peoples are God.

In this comment, I made to an opinion in NYTimes.com, was really lost on the Americans who reject any view which does not speak to their needs. America suffers from expensive gas, or, because Americans have an over-inflated view of their place on earth, they are lost in their self-cramming appetite of consumerism. Such self-absorption is incredible, and is seen so discouragingly in the Democratic nominating elections, that rather than fulfilling a view of bringing all people into the fold of mother earth, we hold-out for status quo.

Some think we should be fat from the plenty, others think we should be generous to share the plenty, and others, by bringing the goodness of our freedoms and thought to all everywhere, we can begin to justify ourselves. Disney/Pixar are creating the message, maybe we need to build our content, our storytelling, and think about how we can change these Hollywood interests to build and change our world, NOT entertain for the many but by higher planes of vision, engage our future by creative community building on a worldwide level.

Georg Bernard Shaw saw the Puritan in our storytelling. Can we stand it?

Comment 55. July 7th, 2008 12:01 pm
Gas prices are gas prices. Something to beef about. The entire train of thought is well-versed negativity. Nothing is nobodies fault, or manipulation, except for those who view the world in that context. Clear choices are to be made, but ok, so it has always been. Crying about how it isn’t the way you think it ought to be, is pure indulgence. This zeppelin called America is about to float up as conscious grasp of productivity and exchange values build all around the earth. Oil is not an issue. It is one part of the means to productivity, and the biggest part is positive attitude. Why does NYTimes pump negativity up all the time? Because people like to shoot themselves in the foot.

In The Lull of Being

Monday Morning in the Heat of Summer. Yesterday 104, today the same, a small breeze will give way to oppressive heat. The world turns, not on the axis so popular touted, or the sun revolves around our ego, the human race obsessed with need looks elsewhere than the astrological streams and glare of cosmos influences. No, the grit of getting what others have too much of blocks the realization that we have too much first, that our productivity doesn't balance our waste, that we think in terms of dread and envy, as purely the garden of Media which grows voluminously around our fears. I think it is said.. Or, I think I will say what is not said. The God of yore has not abandoned us, we have kicked it out in favor of our own grace.

bb's Video Press, www.bbvpress.com: Videos are the way to present information, community identification, poetic expression, and as well, revelation. Common uses of video are meant to entertain in the mass consumption fashion of Hollywood (Los Angeles) or television production (New York). The pre-emptive power of American Culture is firmly based on the sources. All video expression is an emulation of these ways of visualizing and capturing the minds of people everywhere. Contemporeality here, is bb's recognition of a development in video coinciding with computer communication technologies, primarily advanced by capabilities in the Apple Computer and the webcam, the demise of religious text and expectation; for as we now know, the emergence of a true American Spirituality (The American Spirituality Community), which was identified by the Concord writers, Emerson and Thoreau, but never gathered as a community of thought until now. This is seen by the expression of world view in the unique individual, flipping the pyramid of authority, to the needs expressed by the people, for ALL PEOPLES everywhere: God is the creativity in being instruction en masse, and as such, is the most important conduit of information and knowledge on Earth.

The Creativity of Being Instruction

In the moment of learning, we are guided by teachers into forms of understanding, then we begin to learn for ourselves when the answers come from our own physics. We are our best instructors..

American Spirituality Party

We think we belong..., but to what? Ourselves, truly.

Running for President is my sure way to say, I believe in God because We The People are God. This means that between us we can do anything. Because we came across the ocean from Europe, and built this land, we have become change, and with that change is the moral right to help free others so that they can find a way, that is, to join the way to the future. What does it mean?

Simple Sample Reasoning

Public structures, schools, DOC structures, as well commercial that are under planning and/or construction, need to be halted to examine energy needs. The payback on geothermal and related design are more than compelling in a world with oil/gas prices rising, carbon footprints measured, as well, logical and cost effective financing. The power of the state government need act now.

The Will of the People: Manifesto for Change

No matter how organized and sufficient government is in the minds of the office holders, bureaucrats, and corollary organizations, it is essential that all be prepared to re-organize at the will of the people. Government is no more or less than the people. Like the brain, thousands of thousands inputs create the function, but as the environment changes, so too must the government of the inputs. To remain static, merely feeds the bureaucracy.

Energy considerations are not solutions, but an opportunity of collaboration on every level, the most profound of all motivators, the cost of energy, places this at the forefront of considerations. How are WE to deal with the insurmountable task at hand? Can we expect the government of old to imagine what cannot be imagined? Should we watch as power/energy consortiums sort it out in order to maintain healthy profit margins? Are we kidded by media's herd mentality?

No. The business of the future must be elevated, and all parties brought together to review priorities. Strength does not belong to extravagant solutions, whether dotting the landscape with windmills or damming the rivers, the energy is of thought, of creating a new order, and where does it begin? Not by addressing new contacts, but bringing together solutions in financing and construction with all contacts. Time is the essence, that was the message Al Gore brought to the table, but we continue to believe it will be solved for us.

Our candidates tell us they can be the solution, but no. We are the problem, and we are the solution. Our government and it's corollaries believe they are managing, -but what we ask? No solution is autonomous anymore. Energy solutions are not a pastime, rather a dynamic of becoming better than we are. Iraq can be your obsession, but you better begin your phrasing by advancing ways to recreate and improve our society. The politics of blame and sidestepping are self-ridicule of the first order. Winning any and every war begins on the doorstep of need to advance.

You and we need heat to survive, and even cool, and while our companies are selling systems to oil rich countries in the middle east, of course! We are trading from a national weak point, corporations are capitalizing while the country is strangling. The hyperbole is wrenching, but think about it, where is the strength? Belief systems as strong as our national mission to advance free speaking and living people everywhere is straining belief, and most particularly, on the cost of oil, and our extravagant unthinking consumption. The flip side is that we need to be smart productive, and need to sell dynamically worldwide. The global marketplace is first ours, and the most compelling reason for the development of the community of man.

The question is why we are not donning our thinking caps screwed-on straight? When prices get inordinate, we shop elsewhere. 9/11 is merely a feather stroke compared to how gas prices are shoving it to America. The emergency must be addressed now.

fingerlings

Found from Myspace writings:
Creativity of seeing is Nativity, the birth of being.
In the beginning there was abyss and nobody knew what to with it but God, a rationally defined being, because even an irrationally defined God defies definition and is essentially a mysterious force. If we listen to Einstein, we learn that all mystery has definable variables,.. then that gives the emerging people who think, independently of church and government, something to go on, like biology, and physics, and for the way out there folk, quantum theory. Let's rock, why not? In the several thousand years of rationale, in some form, pre-ipod, one thing has remained unchanged as far as we normal humans can see, that's the cosmos. It's the evening wallpaper... What changes around us, and we have gotten silly enough to forget, is the handrail earth with all the little handrails that we hold onto so dearly. It seems steady and solid. The same dependence virtually, we get if you cling to a computer, a gun, a syringe, or a spiraling football, or what, -these are our personal gravitational fields, where we can think we are God. Darn, just makes me wanna do the Texas two Step, don't it?! The point is, life works when we're plugged-in, not unplugged. I think creatively, cling to my camera and take pictures of the breeze.

..in a pod cosmos, the seed, then the flower of being
If we all agree, then it's time to go onto
to the most beautiful discovery ever imagined,
a creative being in each of us, and
together we will change the world.

SUBJECT OF THE OBJECT IS YOU The philosophy of seeing, directly from Emerson, has to do with you as an observer, what you see and what you don't see, it a manifestation of your psyche. The subject of the object of your vision is always you. Alternatively, we can create what another sees, and has captured, but are only emulating a precursor, until we fall onto the flat plains of our self, and evolve into a creative being.

Nature "Every spirit builds itself a house and beyond its house a world and beyond its world a heaven. Know then that the world exists for you. For YOU is the phenomenon perfect. What we are, that only can we see. All that Adam had, all that Caesar could, you have and can do. Adam called his house, heaven and earth; Caesar called his house, Rome; you perhaps call yours, a cobbler's trade; a hundred acres of ploughed land; or a scholar's garret. Yet line for line point for point your dominion is as great as theirs, though without fine names. Build therefore your own world. As fast as you conform your life to the pure idea in your mind, that will unfold its great proportions." Emerson
AND MORE:
Hello. Everybody knows this.
I call it a flex-video.
In video writing we are brought to the test of mental recognition and comprehension, but nothing is more important than our focus, a little like caffeinated consumption of information, it leaves us amazed but empty. Same thing for the flicker bank of nothing, what does it mean? flex. bodybuilding.
We need to rethink feeling.
We need to rethink God.

And EVEN MORE:
Dear ____, like crazy here. So cold. Your picture..you must be cold. I have one of your pieces on my computer, a woman with big do. Great. I was thinking that you are so prolific that a video would be a cool way to show the goods. If I was intown, I'd take it for you. That's what I'm doing, short videos for pr, as well, just showing the art. It's endless for me. An artist tells me look Bill, I say ok, can I take a video of your art? The videos on my page are simple look/see things, easy to jazz up with a soundtrack, and titles and #s overlaid. Youtube. Bingo, link or embed on your website. So, to answer your question, spinning.
As ever yours, Rumpelstiltskin

What's the Matter?

So what's important anyway? Oh gosh, there are so many things that clog our minds, the weather, the doom and gloom of the world, the price of food, the price of gas, the pension disappearing, the steadily increasing income, getting too old to relate to advertising, too sick to contemplate health, and the politics of absurdity. I can't speak to any of these on a short list, because the point is what's important. Everything and everything not on the list.

Where is the entry level to streaming life, where everything that is important plays second to everything on a higher level. Not lower, it is easy to go down to where most people inhabit the world who live in the process stress. Actually most people in the world just live, according to means and expectation. The higher level is where things are seen in order of need, inspiration, vision, that is, where life constitutes a moral reality fully expected and understood. Not recycling, or Green, or Christian, or anything institutionalized or program-itized. You are the orb of the world, it begins and ends with you.

The curious fact of life is that it is either fantasy or reality. One keeps all doors shut so there is no entry, no further progress, while the other flings every unimagined door wide open. This is not a consumer practice. Anybody can buy anything if they can afford it, or not, rather it is test the unknown. Asking to be given a chance to learn the most important things, how people react or work with you. The education is academic, but the education you get is physics from day one.

Still, the soul knows no depth as despair, even perceived despair, and our waking nights are full of the worry of our sleeping days. If you ride the wave of a sports team, prepare for demise, and if you throng to the calling of the political jargon, you live in lies. The fall is greater than The Fall from the Garden of Eden, for if you judge things to be true, then watch "Casey at the Bat", or watch the electorate judge on illusion, and be prepared for the worst. Not what they think or do, but what it does to you, and you let it, or can't help it. Important? That's balancing your equanimity. And, it's your belief in the truth of being....

This Spring moment is particularly good for reassessing the matter at hand, so a friend clues me to a refresher, an 18 minute prayer called Mahamudra Meditation, here, in which the dude tells us, and the video edit reinforces us as one being told to tune into the present. We are also given the role as observer. The key phrase is GET NAKED, or, let it all hang without the clutter we cherish in our past and future that stimulates our regression into anger and foolishness. OK. Easily said and done, as well, beautifully vocalized by the group leader, but..., maybe pharmaceuticals are just as effective without the ingrained discipline which most find so distasteful.

My work has reflected on such a circumstance, that a prayer led by a priest is nothing more than observance, or television entertainment, until one acts. These people's mission is to go out and extend the teaching through their own ability to reflect on the message, a universal message brought to us by many others. The crux of it, The Cross, is not repeating the words but re-creating them in your own image. A teacher merely points a direction, and the disciple becomes master when pointing the re-created direction, and message. All Peoples are masters, or can be if they consider themselves as learner of that which they understand most clearly, what is within them. The Meditation is then only worth as much as those who go forth further in their own creativity. (The essence of Creative Community Building, here, is learning video as a voice, more powerfully communicative than words written or spoken.) This brings us here. Somewhere further on than erecting pyramids and temples to human/animal gods..., we have progressed.

The great unknown is approached when fuller knowledge of being is apparent to All Peoples together, and that metabolizes against the power-mongering, commercial interests in the world. For this, we value Hope.

The Oasis

Spring flowers are floating gently past in the air of coming summer, but tis still cold, or cool. Current hysteria has grown in the world at large, where the financial disasters have modulated into agriculture and food riots. Enough said. The world is not perfect, nor is it America, but like here there are market manipulations and levels of greed everywhere, only without the depth of our cirlces of community. These circles, overlapping by association are the strength of the American culture. In other places people react to more singular force that controls the society, and we mistake their world view for ours. Many belabor the cost of the action in Iraq, but look at the War between the States, and the sheer number of deaths that pounded the Union. Americans are too quick to avoid the responsibility to build a world nation of peoples, one that consolidates true religions and communities of nations and interests into the one strong God, that of communication and resolution to a union of All Peoples. Little else is more important.

Have you forgotten the reason of being?

Forget? More that I don't remember until one point comes out then another. You know perfectly well otherwise why would you be there, and why would I be able to tell you anything, when everything is there in the unopened book that is you. Tis a far better book than The Book.

Time is

STAY ON TRACK video

When one considers advancing toward the dream of the future today, don't read the NEWS, any news is more booze. The healthy body functions according to basic drives, which are only undercut by looking too intently on a time frame, or, allowing corporate/financial entities to have their run of the world. Both are packed with self-interest, but the latter is often full-bore, out of control GREED.

Where is the oft heard center of world financial concerns, YES that's right, WORLD TRADE CENTER town, Mike Bloomberg's New York City, on these matters.

After all, he expressed interest to be Leader of the Free World.

At least Spitzer was a gladiator of the same ilk, he talked the talk, walked the walk, and burned with the best of them. Where is our mild mannered billionaire?

News media is one thing, a delivery form of information. Ross Perot, in an rudimentary effort, tried to show the business of life to the people. Charts, graphs, knowledge of the daily action is more about seeing the rhythms, than catching the panic rocket over the cliffs of doom. Why would the mealy minded greedy financial-ites run for cover when the country is inhabited by solid American stocktaking, investing, working people. The People carry the country, and tolerate the greed. But why? The blood is rich and good out here. But in NYc, the blood is weak and herd-oriented. Where's the fabled Bloombergian World?

Where is the change apparent if not here? Our American candidates run for President on lies that sell the People short. Where is the demonstrable truth, if you will, of numbers and migrations of business so essential to contemplate? Short term thought has lots to do with making a solid future when it is built for the People to learn and build strength. Not The Fed, The Presidency, The Stock Markets, but the People. So far, Mike Bloomberg, even though he brought the beauty of information to the financial greed-ites and perpetrated his own bundle, has failed to bring it home to the revolution of the People.

perfection

Time becomes precious and we have learned how to push it. If it can be pushed. We deceive ourselves more than we know with priorities we have published and live by. Or, throw ourselves from the precipice in a matter of sheer turmoil. Very little is of importance, so in fact, walking away from the best or the worst is a preferable practice. Knowing everything is of no consequence other than to hasten the end, and walking into the unknown world of finding the way is the reverse of the decline. There in the random and unexpected you find God in all things. What more can we ask for? Good music, good friendships and conversation, sunny days and appetite. Gotta love it.

Walking in Sunlight

If I was to say anything about being in a beautiful spot on earth it would be that it is Heaven. Earth is lower case first letter, and Heaven is uppercase first letter. One is a reality of perception, while the other historically is a reality of projection, but my association with Emerson taught that they are one and the same. It is the walking that completes the mystery because the space becomes movement which is life as the human being understands it, -when you stop or the object of your love stops, there is the end of life.

Compounding an already complex perception of joy is the observation by manipulation of the hands, the eye, and a tool to record such is the video camera. The result is a testimony to being there, where you are unique, and then to let others share via exhibition or NET. Those who just vieware not to be unique, except in an observing way, rather, to be inspired to find the way to yourself. It is in the Creative Moment that earth and heaven become epiphanic, and, you float with the Angels. A salvation of self becomes that Moment, re-creating the world, your world which is the only world, in your image.

Retrenching on an idea of self through TV watching, sports, or news only de-magnifies being, makes the human being a product of marketing, a number of those who do or don't, another cheese puff in a plastic bag, -essentially dead.

Why would we want to be dead when living is too profound as we capture our image upon the screen or wall before us? Many would not think this way but choose to just do, but others coupled to the incredible technology available today might see it as the religious experience given to their own spirituality.

A more Perfect Union

" And it means taking full responsibility for own lives – by demanding more from our fathers, and spending more time with our children, and reading to them, and teaching them that while they may face challenges and discrimination in their own lives, they must never succumb to despair or cynicism; they must always believe that they can write their own destiny." Barack Obama

A more perfect union is not found in life than the participation and union with Nature. This painting by Wyeth illustrates man and animal in the landscape, but is seen by the greater force of our being. Who else?

Sic ad hoc Media Baloney

Needlesstosay, these are momentous moments, referring to the play of events in the Media, we are awesome and self-absorbed, but, it helps that this Western town is all flowers and springlike weather which was in place a month ago. The East is not so, buried under snow and cold, it's no wonder that the people there are crunching under self-importance rather than humor. NYkers lead the pack, but DC-ites are close behind, while in Boston are the Hahvardians are just basically frozen in their theological roots. Psycho-drama is rarely seen or heard in perspective.

The Media, bless their little souls, run after any abrogation of the imagined public good, like a Good Citizen calling any individual expression a crime against the state. Reporters run so hard after the sensational moment they frequently ride on the coattails of their bretheren heading for the cliffs no less. Find an original thinker there who has some perspective and reflection is rare. The point is, all this crisis is more of the same greed and cold-weather finger-pointing so typical after a long Winter, hello folks, move SW, or prepare for the NE to break-off the continent and plunge to the depths of it's narrow-minded Hell. The NE is lost, it's hegemony gone, the fiduciary Art World is the mineshaft parrot, dead by decree of the absurdity of living in a past aesthetic. Hillary, the now dark horse, is only good because if the Clinton magic makes the dark horse a fable of win. Nobody wants to be in the wrong end of the plane.

Obama. Hope. A methodology more important than gasoline which just runs cars. Aspiration and election to Hope is not for a now dowdy HRC (She doesn't get it. Bill doesn't tell her. He doesn't get it.), or even a stylistic and suave BO (Who holds the Arthurian sword just as surprised as Arthur was.), but, he has raised the flag to the future. It was once thought to be the flag of Bill's placating assuredness, for the people were sure he was talking to them. It is fact that the people are now doing the talking. The Bushes at least can be congratulated for advancing the cause of unifying the world, but that might be too far-fetching for Media Minds -far better to be dragged on the coattails of doom. The relationship of the King to the Press is gone. The Press is bench-lifting their own egos.

It is world of issues and the American World is far-reaching in the absurdity of marketing the flavored, scented soap of Sport Politics. Recognize that it is this that we want and need to advance and hold the line. It is a Bloombergian World, and the Wizard of Oz will be dead unless he moves to consolidate the dogma. Maybe he doesn't know. His columnists certainly don't know.

Last month, at the end of a two week business trip East, I was sitting in a grille in Union station D.C., eating lunch, watching
Silda and the snake Spitz on TV. Wow, the most momentous turn of the pre-election election. Escorts may be the best litmus test of the state of our society, certainly the NE/NY center of corporate greed, for how greed and self-satisfaction dominates the hoarding mindset is truly tragic, for it is the engine of our larger mission to convert the world into a democratic state for All Peoples.

The vision of our forefathers has changed, didn't you know? We are committed to more than converting 2% of the greediest, fattest, bunch of self-serving escort/slave acquiring jerks who think being a billionaire is the answer to life. The 19th century missionary spirit has waned. It needs viagra. To think so is the remarkable thing about America, for a woman recently said to me that half of American men can't even get it up. One imagines the Bloombergian World is negotiating, and hopefully not wondering, a role in the future of American Peoples. We would like to see that up.

Recently, I had to go to Maine where I lived for 25 years, but now I am buying a house here in the West, in a burgeoning family of man compound, where we watch amused the trials of those energy-centric, abused people back in the NE, who are cooking in their furnaces, and NOT in the human race. So so much, how it all is focused on the wrong things, and the Media can't help themselves, being dragged along by their own lack of insight.

flower of being

the flow of life
don't dwell on the natural order, resistance may be a way to merge like a car pulling on a fast busy highway, don't punish yourself, roll on your back and embrace joy, the doors will open when your being is ready and not when you have a mind full of wrong badness, so, be mindful rather...it's all a practice.

Teens and Drinking

L.Clancy " Drinking can make people STUPID for a long time, even more so for teenagers, whose brains are still developing and consequently, apt to suffer lifetime learning and memory deficits."

Yes but, is drinking stupid or the society we live in stupid?

Jeffery Sachs, "His thesis: Mankind faces catastrophe unless we work together to adopt sustainable energy, decelerate population growth and help the poor escape the poverty trap. The solutions are within our reach, he says, and the costs will be relatively modest."

http://www.taproot.com/

Drinking is not a problem, it is an answer to the immoveable aspect of Maine life. Locals and new people from away are invested in a deal they see as perfect, i.e., the view of Maine the way we like it. Don't change it, is not the phrase we need. The intent is create the future, let our children be that process, which is to open ourselves to ways to overcome the mindset we love to think as 'real Maine.'

[news item] Good Citizens & Planning Board preserve Camden Harbor, but really, only saving their narrow view of what is important. If only they could save the community from drinking their lives away because....

Children and adults will continue to drink and drug out their minds until the communities join together in trust to solve problems and create new models of growth.

Water Thoughts

My thoughts are not new, just observations. Like that one on the tree
epidemic in New Mexico. Dried dead trees no longer cycle water
through the atmosphere. Sun hits the turf, up water goes away. Then
there is no more water but deeper down in the sand. There are good
reasons for reforestation along waterways and any area not being
farmed. Farming is more of the depletion of resource that we see in
fishing. Use it, lose it. In fact lose just about everything that
sustains human life.

Man's activity is NOT about objectives of balance. We do however like
to eat meat. When traveling through the South two years ago, there
were terrible storms. One might think that is eternal, they do. My
thought is the over-grazing in Texas Oklahoma and all the Midwest has
contributed to an imbalance. The South is an excellent place to start
grazing. It would help if they would stop raising yellow pine. In
return, we must plant large belts of forest across the Midwest, trees
and shrubs that have deep roots, fast growing, and shade, as well as
in all non-agriculture/farm territories. Stop the over-grazing by law,
and by rotation.

The nature of democracy is the right to take and deplete. While
regulation and restriction is operatively bad to growth, the vision we
need is to organically support activities for all people.

Why I am Who I am

I am not writing this for you, really for me, as I use everything in life for pictures, my life is full of experience I am able to think about, especially if I believe there is spin. Nothing on the other hand can help others but themselves. My situation, being not in a relationship is by choice and by action of inability to define that choice. I was once married and had children, then unmarried. I discourse on virtually all aspects of my inabilties.

Silda 4 President

Sitting in Union station Grill eating white bean soup with southern
flair reminded me that being 1000 yards from The Capital was as good
as any place for an epiphany, and there came before me Spitz and Silda
resigning the Gov.ship in NY. Chatting with a woman next to me, and
watching, while eating, Silda grew in my eyes. Hillary never could be,
as this woman expressed, in her eyes and knowledge of the turn in
fate. Silda is kind of an inverted power, without Bill's hungry eyes,
even Spitz couldn't be assessed in the same way as the former
President, where HRC's ambition is to her husband.
In this case,
Silda's ambition is our pain for her, and ourselves. Imagine a
governor riding down the waves of greed emanating out of Wall Street
and taking them on, only to be sucked into the vortex, and eaten. No,
her stature is of the modern day Jean d'Arc, and we are her legions.
Not against selling sex, for that is the mainline of our 9 trillion
dollar consumer market, rather kicking the greed in the teeth and
making it responsible to the people. When Silda gets mad, it won't be
at Spitz, it'll be at the ongoing unbalance of financial/corporate
greed.

Bloombergian World - We Are The world

America is making the world in it's own image, but not like the French
think, after all democracy began there, and when it came here, it was
ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

Cast dispersions on God, cast dispersion on virtually anything that
sells newspapers, only realize that the meaning of God is a cliché
associated with Kings, Presidents, Popes, all who speak for the gifts
from God to the people.

One Nation Under God refers to a singular spiritual moment that
created the wealthiest nation in history, not money, but ability to
see the new being, the coming reality. Emerson refers to this as "the
state of happy souls" (on earth).

"This brings to mind our favorite argument. God. One nation under God
does not mean that the church of blank has taken control of our
country. The original phrase refers to an interpretation of God as
individual energy and collective energies of people, who come together
for combining differences in a workable union. The higher abstraction
is essential because it encompasses all peoples who congregate for the
love of god, or not. Thereby these American states have enabled the
growth and building of extraordinary wealth in a fast-moving society,
yet, a 'nation under god' for which many have died defending and
reaffirming this important precept. God as seen as combining energies
is that big. Huge in fact when you view older countries locked into
one way."
http://www.mainecoastnow.com/articles/2008/02/21/camden_herald/letters_and_editorials/letters/doc47bc580a78990497328754.txt

A man for whom the people rally is the coming of the Messiah, but
Obama is Not the Messiah, the People are the Messiah. The moment is
not to be mis-seen as an American grabbing for attention, of health
care, for balance against the exploitation of the market, the
inordinate power of lobbyists in DC, (and who but Bloomberg sees the
practicality of elementary education as the avenue to the future), and
yes we do talk down to Americans and not UP. We Are the World, it is
a matter of destiny, it is the Peace Corp re-modeled as the creative
corp, the seeking of alternative knowledge and ways that frees the
democratic spirit and creates wealth of being.

Mike Bloomberg is not running for President? He is The President. I am
The President. The People are The President.

Too many moments are being wasted as America lives the SPORT MOMENT of
the elections, where everything is trivialized, reporters become
'whiners' for something good to write about, and everybody gets excited
by the score, not the future.

NOW IS THE TIME.

Letter to Editor

To the Editor:

In these economic times, we are in this together. We have been for 200 years. By town or state, region or country, we need to build for the future. Of all the issues facing the greater Camden area, very few are about one town. That was true in the days when people lived, worked and managed their lives in one village. No more is this true.

The five town region collaborated on a high school, but refuses to see the infrastructure of roads that feed people down to the schools, or to jobs which are so important. The money is on the coast. Development of coastal property and business is Maine’s largest industry.

A recent meeting in Lincolnville with Governor Baldacci brings home the reality that the State is responsible for main roads, and the towns must service the back roads. These back roads are now main thoroughfares, because the region is thickening out with population everywhere. Many live out 30-40 miles where it is less expensive, but drive into Rockport-Camden for business.

So, what is important is our inability to see what is important. Is there any reason why the wealth on the coast should help the inland towns? Well, wealth is something, but health is even more important. Higher coastal taxes are essential, but that doesn’t create prerogatives of non-responsibility.

This brings to mind our favorite argument. God. One nation under God does not mean that the church of blank has taken control of our country. The original phrase refers to an interpretation of God as individual energy and collective energies of people, who come together for combining differences in a workable union. The higher abstraction is essential because it encompasses all peoples who congregate for the love of god, or not. Thereby these American states have enabled the growth and building of extraordinary wealth in a fast-moving society, yet, a ‘nation under god’ for which many have died defending and reaffirming this important precept. God as seen as combining energies is that big. Huge in fact when you view older countries locked into one way.

How is this relevant to the Five Town school region? It is said that Camden and Rockport Police are working on combining departments. Is this a tipping point of the iceberg? Why not go forth and create a new model entity, which surely would be able to receive state or federal funding, to reduce township log jam, and create a municipality.

The simple fact is, working together can be more efficient, produce better quality of living, and cost less is no commanding thought hereabouts. Our bureaucrats and selectmen have no desire to change the status quo, why would they? It works for them. The change will not come out of need, or automatically, it will be by only the will of the people.

Seeing growth and development as positive, not negative, is the key. Combining road departments for new and better roads is urgently needed now. Building an acceptable refuse and trash transfer station out of Rockport is essential now. Combining five town CODE and staffing a central office is essential now. Upgrading town employment wages linked to education is essential now. And, getting the government out of townships into a fast and deliberate municipality is essential now, because it is our destiny to solve problems together, so that we may go forward as a society.

Last Glimpse of a 2007 Sun Video!

If we tried to guess why, we'd be wrong. Or if not wrong, deceived. What is, is. The sun sets everyday, but on 31 December 2007, it is New Years Eve. We can rejoice. And, it helps to be in Watsonville, near Santa Cruz California, at the top of Monterey Bay, and see what there is to see. Almost too much to believe.... Beauty is NOT ALWAYS present, but when it is, we are awake and see the world dressed in light, -AND see that beauty is within us. Beauty is not "on the shelf,' it is a state of being.
