Last Glimpse of a 2007 Sun Video!

If we tried to guess why, we'd be wrong. Or if not wrong, deceived. What is, is. The sun sets everyday, but on 31 December 2007, it is New Years Eve. We can rejoice. And, it helps to be in Watsonville, near Santa Cruz California, at the top of Monterey Bay, and see what there is to see. Almost too much to believe.... Beauty is NOT ALWAYS present, but when it is, we are awake and see the world dressed in light, -AND see that beauty is within us. Beauty is not "on the shelf,' it is a state of being.

Being Alive

200 miles roaring though the Palouse today, from Walla Walla to Colfax, passed rolling treeless landscape, over the Snake river, man oh man, so gorgeous, and perfect drive for a sports car.

"Where am I?"

I must think about it for it is not where I have been. You know when you wake up and think you are somewhere in the past, yet it is just a dream discombobulation. I am why I am, and if so, then my dreams have a dynamic, -unsettling sometimes. I live in the Snake River basin, just below the Blues bordering Washington to Idaho. On the whole, there are no trees. Vast space all around, yet here, a quiet little burb, my nights are deep in silence. Maine was so noisy, at the Yellow House, and at Rokes Farm where the new earth house will be built next summer. I have chosen to go the the desert, man made, all grain fields, the natural flora and fauna has been plowed-under.... But nature is not the landscape, that is our perception, whereas nature is the rolling fields of emotions subject to eating, sleeping, companionship, and social/work life. All the rest, politics, religion, sports, gas prices, are just the reflection of that turgid life of the rolling emotional fields. Here, in the Palouse, life is rolling fields. Very Nearly Thought I was hit..

by a flying Xspot..



..that while walking along the road of life that I either might be selected to do something for mankind, or if I blinked maybe I would fall into Hell...is this where something or somebody was run over by an itinerant vehicle? Or, am I just blessed by perception with a camera to record my own moment in the sea of light waves..then here too is my radiance for others who breeze by. I tell this to everybody. CREATIVITY is Nativity.
